Job Description
We need strong, motivated workers with excellent work ethic, enthusiasm, and 2-3 years' experience to join our team as a junior carpenter. Job duties will vary from day to day, however, must be able to use a variety of tools and machines. You will be required to help carpenters, masons, and other specialized contractors on the site from time to time. This is a junior position, but we want people who have an aptitude for construction, who want to learn and show initiative on the job site. We are offering $20 - $30 (depends on experience).
Summary
As a Junior Carpenter, you will be an integral part of our construction team, assisting in various carpentry projects. Reporting to the Lead Carpenter, your role will focus on supporting the execution of building plans and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. With core skills in construction techniques and carpentry tools, you will help in framing, installation, and finishing work. Your attention to detail and willingness to learn will be essential as you gain experience in this hands-on trade. Responsibilities
Assist in various construction projects by performing carpentry tasks under supervision. Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards. Support the installation of structures and fixtures, ensuring quality workmanship. Learn and apply new techniques and tools to enhance skills in carpentry.
