Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, keen and dependable Junior Carpenter to join our team. This individual will be working with other Carpenters and must be able to follow directions. A Jr Carpenter is still responsible for creating structures using hands-on skills and must have a background in carpentry. We are looking for individuals who are interested in working in a team environment and can produce quality work on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities:

Connect wood and other building materials using various tools. Fit materials into a design specifications or architecture. Communicate details about the work to other members of a construction crew. Use a variety of measuring tools to ensure that the structure is built correctly. Make sure that the structure is structurally sound and safe. Follow safety procedures while working on a construction site.
Qualifications:

1-5 years of experience as a carpenter in commercial and residential construction. Ability to work within a team or independently. Experience with rough framing, steel stud, dry-walling, vinyl and wood siding, finish carpentry. Follow COR certification requirements. Reading and interrupting blueprints. Attention to detail with positive attitude. Valid Drivers License. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to multi-task in a challenging environment. Job can be physically demanding, lifting will be required. Working at heights will be required.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
