BRENRIC CONSTRUCTION LTD. is a family oriented, culture-focused construction management company serving the Greater Victoria, BC region since 1983. We're looking for a Handy Person to join our team!

OVERVIEW

As a Junior Carpenter / labourer with Brenric, you will have the opportunity to work independently, exercising your creativity and expertise to bring projects to life. This is a full time, M-F position.

We specialize in commercial interior renovations, so our site environments are comfortably indoors within Victoria. You will have the adventure of moving between sites each week, connecting with different members of our community and enjoying the flexibility and freedom of mobility.

You can expect to be doing door, window and hardware installs, some framing, backing, drywalling, sheathing, millwork assembly, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Take measurements and calculate the size and amounts of materials needed
Organize delivery and pickups of material, dump runs, and power equipment
Collaborate with subs, suppliers, manufacturers, engineers and city inspectors for purposes of scheduling and construction and product integration
Operate and maintain construction tools

REQUIREMENTS

Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
