The Role

We are seeking a

Junior CAD Designer

to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who's eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-moving environment. You'll play a key role in supporting project delivery by preparing clear, accurate drawings and models used across a variety of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately produce drawings and models from sketches, layouts, and other information. Carry out basic level material preparation including interpreting dimensions from catalogue and supplier data. Checking and coordinating work with those from other disciplines and other designers. On occasion, interact with outside vendors and/or clients to obtain information for internal use. On occasion, travel to client sites for meetings, collect information, field verification, or other project related duties. Demonstrate ability to meet established objectives regarding work quality. Respect established budget and timelines to complete assigned tasks.
What You Bring

Education & Certification:

Diploma or certificate in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or related field.

Experience & Skills:

Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Solid communication skills and a willingness to ask questions. Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks or project inputs. A collaborative attitude and a desire to continue learning.
