Our Industrial Technology client is currently seeking a Junior Buyer to join their team on a permanent basis. Responsibilities:

• Preparing Requests for Quote (RFQ) packages.
• Processing requisitions and placing them according to active quotes in the system.
• Ensure timely communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Updating the system with details such as price, supplier information, lead time, and promise date.
• Working closely with the Production team to manage alignment of PO Need date with Mfg. Demand date.
• Supporting inventory processes and cycle count processes for accuracy.
• Identifying inventory discrepancies, analyzing, and providing corrective action.
• Working closely with the Quality team to help resolve quality issues as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Business Admin, or a related discipline.
• Experienced in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Previous experience with financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
• Thrives under pressure and effectively meets tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Skilled at negotiating and building relationships with vendors and clients.
