Position Overview Pedal and Shift Consulting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Consultant to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in consulting and business development, supporting a variety of projects and clients. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of consultants and contribute to the development and execution of client strategies, research, business planning, project implementations, and some supportive administrative activities. Responsibilities

• Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes relevant to client projects and business development.
• Client Support: Assist in the development and execution of client strategies and plans. Consult directly with clients to determine their needs and evaluate how Pedal & Shift can address them.
• Project Management: Support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of projects. Assist in preparing project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and proposals.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, maintaining our website, and maintaining project files.
• Participate in industry events: Attend events on behalf of Pedal & Shift and our clients. Pedal & Shift is a member of econext, Tech NL, the St. John\xe2\x80\x99s Board of Trade, the Ocean Supercluster, and the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, potentially remotely
• Strong time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for learning and taking on new challenges
• Knowledge and experience with construction, engineering, and technology industries an asset
