We are looking for a talented individual who can strengthen the firm within their role as a
Junior
Architectural Technologist
with our organization. The individual will assume a key support role within a project team and collaborate on the development of complex construction details.

Skills and Qualifications:
Diploma from an accredited Architectural Technologist Program
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Ontario Building Code, regulations and requirements
Knowledge of the appropriate use of building systems, materials and technologies.
Strong technical skills, proficient in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Sketchup
Skilled in contract document preparation, detailing and consultant coordination
Ability to manage time, deadlines, deliverables and budgets on multiple tasks.
Skilled in MS Office Suite, Excel, Bluebeam
Job Duties may include:
Ability to produce technical design and contract documentation in collaboration with project teams and the Architect on institutional, residential and large multi-unit residential projects in Ottawa
Assist in preparation of documents for various permit application submissions
Assist in specifications and contribute to the tendering and construction documentation
Assisting with review of shop drawings, RFI's, SI's and contract administration
Provide administrative support to project managers and teams in relation to organization, filing documentation and project related details.
Assist in site visits, construction inspections and reports to ensure adherence to project documents, codes and quality controls.
