Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various projects, ensuring that they meet both client specifications and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, project management skills, and proficiency in various design software.

Responsibilities

Develop and present architectural designs that meet client needs and project specifications. Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors throughout the design and construction process. Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisWorks to create detailed drawings and models. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications. Manage project budgets and timelines effectively to ensure successful completion of projects. Prepare construction documents, including specifications and drawings for bidding purposes. Engage in business development activities to attract new clients and expand project opportunities. Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and contractors to secure favorable terms for the firm. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, technologies, and regulations affecting architectural design.

Skills

Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent negotiation skills to work effectively with clients and stakeholders. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and budgeting practices. Familiarity with drafting techniques and renovation processes within the construction industry. Ability to develop business relationships that foster growth opportunities for the firm. Experience with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration is a plus.
