About the Opportunity
Our client located downtown Toronto, a reputable organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a Junior Analyst, Finance & Administration to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain broad exposure in both accounting and human resources within a collaborative and professional environment.
The Junior Analyst will provide financial, HR, and administrative support to management while contributing to the overall efficiency and goals of the organization. This role reports to the Controller with a dotted line to Human Resources.
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Accurately process invoices, expense claims, and electronic fund transfers (EFTs)
  • Reconcile corporate credit cards and assist with wire payments
  • Support month-end close and prepare audit working papers as assigned
  • Track and analyze financial data to identify variances and trends
  • Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines
  • Coordinate contracts and maintain a contracts database
  • Serve as main contact for office facilities and vendor coordination
  • Assist with HR administration, including maintaining the employee handbook and training records
  • Support onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and HR documentation
  • Prepare meeting materials, policies, and presentations
  • Provide general administrative support to Finance and HR leadership
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
  • University degree with coursework in Accounting or Finance
  • Additional training or experience in Human Resources is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

This role offers a hybrid work environment, with the office located downtown Toronto. You will be required to be onsite 2-3 days per week.
