A Day in the Life

• Processing accounts payables, accost receivable, employee expenses, bank reconciliation and credit card reconciliation
• Processing Journal Entries to ensure a proper recording of all business transactions
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end closings.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
• Assisting with processing payroll on a semi-monthly basis.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• 2 + year of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of the system thinking global sustainability issues.
• Advanced competency in accounting software
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High proficiency in mathematics and the ability to think critically
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• Superb organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Analytical mind with strong problem-solving and conceptual skills
• Tech-savvy with a confident, team-oriented demeanor and a strong ability to shift priorities based on evolving business needs.
• Comfortable at navigating computer software including G-Suite, Asana, Hubspot to name a few.
• Sound understanding of financial and accounting practices and principles

It's a Bonus If You Have

• Experience in the food and/or manufacturing industry!
• Experience in a start-up environment - we're growing quickly and have no plans on stopping!
