Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Junior Accountant/ Office Administrator

to join our accounting team here at Perfect Fit. This entry-level accounting role will provide assistance with a multitude of accounting functions and general office support to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Organize and manage all accounting files.

Assist with journal entries- DR & CR knowledge considered an asset.

Perform month-end procedures.

Assist in relevant account reconciliations.

Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping.

Maintain financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies.

Support payroll processing and expense report tracking.

Assist in ordering office supplies and materials.

Assistance in some group benefits administration as needed.

Other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required). Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in accounting or finance roles (1-3 years preferred). Familiarity with accounting software such as Quickbooks. Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
