We're looking for a driven and detail-focused Junior Account Manager to join our growing pet treats manufacturing team. This position at Cambridge Treats is perfect for someone passionate about the pet industry and excited to develop a career in sales and account management. In this role, you'll work closely with the account management team to support customer relationships, process orders, and coordinate between clients and internal teams to keep operations running seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support
Assist with daily communication and coordination with retail, distributor, and private-label clients.
Support senior account managers in resolving customer inquiries and maintaining client satisfaction.
Draft follow-up emails, order confirmations, and other customer-related documentation.
Order & Coordination
Track and process customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure client requirements are met.
Monitor product availability and provide proactive updates to clients.
Sales Administration
Maintain accurate customer account records in CRM/ERP systems.
Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal and client meetings.
Contribute insights from customer feedback and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Professional Development
Participate in training to gain knowledge of pet treat production, industry standards, and customer needs.
Shadow senior account managers to develop negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.
Attending trade shows and client meetings as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or account coordination; experience in FMCG or the pet industry is an asset.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a collaborative team setting.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems is an advantage.
Mandarin language skills are preferred
