Job Description

Delta West Academy is looking for a Junior and Senior High Math/Science specialist, who inspires their student's learning through inquiry and experiential learning. The successful candidate must be comfortable teaching Junior High Math and Science, as well as High School Biology courses. The role would be a 0.6 Part-Time position, with the potential to grow the role to full time depending on the candidate.



We pride ourselves on the connections we can make with students given our small classes and tailor curricular programming to meet the needs of individuals. Teachers are able to utilize the delivery of their program through a variety of modalities and resources to engage student learning. Excellent mentorship and support is provided by Administration and senior teaching staff throughout the school year.

The successful candidate will need to provide the school with a criminal record/vulnerable sector check prior to being able to begin teaching. They must also hold a current Alberta Interim Certificate or Alberta Professional Certificate.
