We are seeking a Civil CAD Technologist to join our team.
Our team regularly collaborates on projects across North America. The successful candidate should be comfortable working and collaborating on a variety of different projects with team members across North America.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player that is excited about taking on a new challenge. While the successful candidate will be based in our St. John\'s, NL office. We do offer flexible hybrid work from home/office arrangements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Preparing engineering drawings for municipal, commercial, and industrial projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Preparing plan, profile, grading, surface design for water, storm, wastewater piping, and roadways design from concept to final.
Preparing presentation graphics and report figures.
Coordinating project drawings with project managers, technical staff, and others.
Completing model reviews and collaborating with other technical disciplines.
Ensuring that the projects\' needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
Understanding and adhering to Stantec and client standards.
Complete site inspections of civil projects.
Qualifications
Your Qualifications and Credentials
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
Strong communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities and a willingness to work in a team atmosphere.
Highly organized, have significant attention to detail, able to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments.
Experience with MS Office Suite including Word, and Excel.
Government of Canada and RCMP Security Clearances considered an asset.
Experience in following considered an asset:
