In today's environmental climate, there is a special emphasis on environmental compliance and due diligence in managing waste streams across all industries. The Jr. Sustainability Reporter will offer competence in the field of data entry, waste reporting as well as sustainability outreach and engagement.
Responsibilities:
Reporting (80%)
+ Support sustainability reporting requirements and requests for Waste Solutions Canada's national clients.
+ Verify data and provide it to clients in various formats including but not limited to excel, formal reports and presentations.
+ Conduct analysis of data to find trends, changes, and opportunities for clients.
+ Develop and maintain ongoing reporting systems and processes.
Sustainability Services (20%)
+ Development and delivery of sustainability engagement programs for Waste Solutions' clients.
+ Support Waste Solutions and their clients in sustainability endeavors.
+ Supporting sustainability requests as needed for Waste Solutions' clients.
+ Development and implementation of yearly strategic projects
Other responsibilities
+ Supporting marketing and communications efforts of Waste Solutions Canada, including but not limited to the creation of signage, presentations, and social media content.
Requirements:
University degree or college diploma in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field
Strong communication skills
Strong passion for sustainability
Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel
Intermediate experience using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and Monday.com
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to complete detailed analytics and reports
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience using AI models
