JR. Sous Chef

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence.
Ensure every dish reflects Acquafarina's high standards of flavour, consistency, and presentation.
Lead and motivate the kitchen team, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
Assist in managing inventory, food costs, and ordering to maintain accurate stock levels and minimise waste.
Supervise food preparation to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Assist in executing seasonal menus and specials to delight guests.
Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff to maintain a high-performing team environment.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and communication.
Address operational challenges proactively to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Uphold Acquafarina's values by contributing to a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a junior sous.
A genuine passion for Italian cuisine and a commitment to delivering culinary excellence.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Proven ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
