JOB DESCRIPTION



The Junior Salesperson is responsible for executing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and handing off to operations. This role includes daily outreach through calls, emails, networking, and social media, as well as qualifying leads, conducting discovery meetings, and collaborating with department managers to prepare accurate quotes and proposals. The Junior Salesperson maintains and updates all sales activity in our client resource management software, ensures timely follow-ups, and secures signed agreements. In addition to sales responsibilities, this role supports marketing efforts by creating and scheduling social media content, writing newsletters, and collecting client testimonials and project photos. The Junior Salesperson works closely with the Sales Manager to review performance, improve tactics, and contribute to a consistent, professional brand presence while achieving or exceeding sales and activity targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Lead Generation & Outreach

Prospect and generate new leads via cold calls, networking, email, and social media. Qualify leads and build a healthy pipeline in our client resource management program - ConnectWise. Follow up consistently with leads and book discovery calls or site visits.

Sales Process Execution

Conduct discovery calls and collaborate with internal departments to create accurate quotes. Track and update all opportunities in ConnectWise. Close deals and ensure all sales documentation is accurate and complete.

Marketing & Content Support

Create and schedule social media posts and newsletters. Assist in collecting client testimonials and project photos. Support ongoing marketing campaigns and maintain brand consistency.

Customer Communication

Maintain regular contact with prospects and customers. Send timely follow-ups and educational content to nurture engagement. Attend trade shows or networking events to represent Cattle Tech.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

Track daily KPIs (calls, leads, conversions, etc.). Collaborate with the Sales Manager to review performance and improve tactics. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and customer feedback.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR



Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with prospects and clients. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and comfortable using CRM systems (ConnectWise experience is a plus). Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple tasks and priorities. Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and onsite visits. Must possess a valid driver's license. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
