We are are looking to expand our team and hire a Junior Project Manager. If you have exceptional Project Management and Construction Cost Estimating skills and looking to advance your career then please apply today.Closing Date: October 1st, 2022.Position will be based in Edmonton Downtown reporting to the Managing Partner, the Junior Project Manager will be responsible for Project Management and Cost Estimating.Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and update the construction schedules in Project Management Software;
• Develop, maintain and update construction cost estimates;
• Manage schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion of projects;
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding work being performed;
• Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work;
• Communicate any conflicts or revisions associated with the project;
• Coordinate required inspections with City of Edmonton inspection departments;
• Identify conflicts in the construction progress and communicate for resolution;
• Perform job progress and completion punch lists and ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified;
• Work with management, to ensure compliance with safety procedures;
• Maintains files and records for all projects;

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to create comprehensive schedules and cost estimates;
• Proficient with Project Management Software and Cost Estimating Tools and ability to learn new online project management software and technology;
• Ability to understand and interpret architectural and structural plans;
• Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline-oriented;
• Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors and employees at all levels of the organization;

Required Education and Experience:

• education in construction project management & estimating;
• 2 to 5 years of construction supervision & cost estimating experience;

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Knowledge of acceptable construction site practices including safety and health regulations.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.

Working Conditions: The position is located in Edmonton, Alberta.
