This is a six month, full-time contract position. We welcome applicants from across Canada.

We offer the option to work remotely, in-person or a hybrid of both. Our open-concept office at Mt Pleasant & Davisville in Toronto has lots of sunlight, collaborative work spaces, and team picnics. All About You:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Production Graphic Designer to join our team in the branded merch industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and experience working in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create graphics for a variety of promotional merchandise products, digital presentations and social media marketing
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and production requirements
• Prepare and organize design files for production, including ensuring that all files are properly sized and formatted
• Image retouching & manipulation
• Stay current on industry trends and new product development to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Familiarity and knowledge of garment/corporate apparel decoration and process
• Experience in video editing, motion graphics and studio photography is beneficial but not essential. (Adobe Premiere / Adobe After Effects)
• A keen eye for typography and colour correction
• Ability to quickly adapt to new circumstances or juggle multiple daily tasks and deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills (Proof reading / project management tools)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Exceptionally creative & curious

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in graphic design, with an emphasis on production design
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Related experience with branded merchandise or the apparel industry is a plus
• Bachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design or related field

Our clients come from all industries, each with a distinct brand guide, so you must be highly adaptable. In an ideal world, you will have an understanding of the promotional products industry and experience in creating quality branded merchandise.

Compensation:
This is a 6 month contract with compensation based on a rate of $45,000 annually
1 week vacation after 3 months
