Description and RequirementsWork Location: Hybrid, Mandatory 3 days in officePosition Type: Contract, 2 months (high potential for extension)Location: Mississauga, ONCompensation Package: $28/hr (T4) to $32/hr (Inc)Our multinational retail client is seeking a Jr. Deployment Specialist to join the team. The Deployment Specialist is responsible for bringing together the assets prepared by other functions in the studio (design, copy, development) and ensuring they are delivered beautifully to the customer. Acting as the webmaster, the deployment group constantly creates, curates, and deletes the rules, content, and details that bring the site to life. Attention to detail and the ability to execute complex eCommerce campaigns flawlessly are critical in this role.Responsibilities

  • Deploy the rules and assets required to bring assets and promotions to life to the sites using different CMS.
  • Manage the CMS repository strategy to ensure content and files are easy to access and intuitive to find, ensuring seamless site maintenance.
  • Work with the product management team to ensure a firm understanding of how to take advantage of new features and functions and translate those into new promotional strategies.
  • Test the site in a staging environment before launch to ensure that changes have been made properly.
  • Troubleshoot and correct promotional issues promptly. There may be some overtime required.
  • Work with the Site Merchandising and Studio Teams to educate them on the site\'s capabilities and how to utilize it in their best promotional strategies.
  • Execute weekly Media Connect paid marketing (share of voice) campaigns for use.
  • Support the Site Merchandising and Optimization Teams by creating and executing simple to complex A/B tests.
  • As needed, use basic HTML/CSS skills to modify page templates.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of similar experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Quality assurance background
  • Strong communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skill in publishing through WordPress (or similar CMS, with WordPress very strongly preferred)
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills
  • Experience with basic image manipulation (cropping/resizing/file size optimization) through Photoshop or a similar platform
  • Experience with enterprise-level project management platforms (Wrike, JIRA, Asana, etc.)
  • Keen addition to detail
