The Opportunity
We're growing -- and we're looking for a
motivated, detail-oriented Junior Accountant
to join our dynamic Finance team.
In this role, you'll get hands-on experience across a variety of accounting functions -- from payroll and commissions to bank reconciliations and internal reporting -- supporting financial operations across multiple business entities. Your Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting journal entries
Handle bi-weekly payroll and commission processing
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Maintain accurate A/P and A/R sub-ledgers
Verify billing accuracy and process vendor payments (cheques, EFTs, wire transfers)
Reconcile corporate credit cards and expense documentation
Banking & Payments
Perform bank reconciliations and prepare weekly payment batches
Ensure appropriate approvals and documentation are in place
Audit & Compliance Support
Review and audit internal contest displays for accuracy
Maintain organized financial records and assist with audits as needed
General Accounting Support
Assist with ad-hoc projects and process improvements within the Finance department
What You Bring
Degree or diploma in
Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
Solid grasp of
GAAP and fundamental accounting principles
Proficiency in
Excel
(pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs)
Familiarity with
accounting software
such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent
Exceptional
attention to detail
and strong organizational skills
A
collaborative attitude
, eagerness to learn, and professional communication skills

Previous internship or experience in an accounting or finance role
Experience with
