Journeyperson \xe2\x80\x93 Transport Truck & Trailer Technician City Tire & Auto (Mount Pearl) is seeking a journeyperson Transport Truck & Trailer Technician to join its customer focused & safety-oriented team. Work Expectation

• \xc2\xb7 Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of motor vehicles & trailers.
• \xc2\xb7 Review work orders and discuss work with management and/or customer.
• \xc2\xb7 Inspect vehicle operation, road test motor vehicles, and test systems and components for repair diagnostics.
• \xc2\xb7 Able to work independently with little supervision.
• \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail.
• \xc2\xb7 Good computer skills.
• \xc2\xb7 Good communication skills both verbal & written.
• \xc2\xb7 Hours of Operation is 8:00AM to 5:00PM \xe2\x80\x93 Monday thru Friday.
• \xc2\xb7 Permanent position.

The Ideal Candidate

• \xc2\xb7 A skilled journeyperson (Red Seal Certified) that works well within a team environment.
• \xc2\xb7 Willing and eager to work with apprentices to enable their progression in the trade.
• \xc2\xb7 Must be able and willing to take assignments as directed from management team.
• \xc2\xb7 A valid driver\'s license is non-negotiable. Applicant must provide a satisfactory driver\'s abstract.

Compensation

• \xc2\xb7 Competitive compensation: $32.01 - $39.89 per hour for journeyperson.
• \xc2\xb7 5 Paid Sick-Days, 10 Paid Vacation-Days (starting), 6* Paid Statutory Holidays, and 6* Other Paid Holidays.
