Universe Engineering services provide CRN# and certified processes accordingly.

Qualifications of

Journeyperson Machinist - Manual Lathe and Mill:

Understanding of standard practices, materials, tools and methods of the Machinist's trade with an ability to use all types of measuring tools and maintain calibrations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team from blueprints. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Strong understanding of and experience with Manual Mills and Lathes, Surface Grinders Skilled in the development of fixtures and jigs for new and ongoing projects Physical tasks include walking, grasping, carrying, lifting

Must be results driven, conscientious, dependable, punctual and possessing a strong work ethic Must possess strong communication skills, positive attitude and a strong sense of their true abilities General mechanical aptitude and mechanical background with emphasis on trouble shooting and problem solving

Assets in Experience/Skills of

Journeyperson Machinist - Manual Lathe and Mill:

Understand and read English Basic Computer Previous Machining Lathe/Mill/Boring Mill/Surface Grinder & Slotter experience is an asset 5 - 6 Years' experience in Oil and Gas Valve Repair/Modification Fast pace shop Overtime required when necessary
