Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Commercial Electrician

to join our dynamic team at our

Prince George Office

. In this role, you will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems for commercial construction, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to install electrical systems. Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site. Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other trades to meet project deadlines. Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment to identify issues and make necessary repairs. Provide excellent customer service and ensure job site safety.

Requirements:

Valid Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent. Previous experience as a commercial electrician. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and distribution. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Knowledge of current electrical codes and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. Own tools and transportation preferred. Safety-conscious mindset and commitment to workplace safety standards.

Pay: $49.00-$59.00 per hour
