Position Details

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking local Journeyperson Carpenters with

Interior Finishing

experience for work at our MNP Sports Center in Calgary, AB.

Schedule: Monday - Friday Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

What You Will Be Working On

Install interior trim, baseboards, casings, and moldings Fit, hang, and adjust interior doors (wood/metal) and door hardware Install cabinetry, millwork, lockers, shelving, and built-ins Perform detailed finishing around stairways, railings, and wall panels Conduct repairs and upgrades on interior finishes (doors, drywall patches, trims) Read and interpret drawings, finish schedules, and specifications Ensure high-quality workmanship with clean lines and precise measurements Use hand tools, power tools, and finish equipment safely Coordinate with trades during renovation projects to maintain workflow Maintain a clean and safe worksite; protect surrounding finishes Leading a crew of 2-4+ tradespeople Troubleshoot onsite issues such as uneven walls, out-of-square openings, and existing building irregularities

What We Are Looking For

CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015 ESC Fall Protection Valid Journeyperson certificate in the trade of Carpentry Experience in commercial or institutional interior finishing Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
