Journeyperson & Apprentice Pipefitters

SALARY

: $28.60- $47.60 per hour

OVERTIME

: After 8 hours in a day, or 40 hours in a week

START DATE: March 18 2025

SCHEDULE

: 10days on, 4 days off

HOURS PER DAY:

10 hours per day

PAY SCHEDULE:

Weekly Pay (Friday)

SHIFT

: Dayshift or Nightshift (PREMIUM $3/HR)

WORK SCOPE:

Greenfield construction of fractionation plant

Working Conditions:

Full-time, Temporary

Requirements:

Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Certification from a recognized provincial training authority CSTS 2020 Certification WHMIS2015 H2S Alive ESC Elevated Work Platform ESC Fall Protection Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision Previous industrial construction experience is an asset

Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard-to-reach areas Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors May perform other related duties as assigned Complete all required safety documentation Working at heights and outdoors
