Journeyman/woman Powerline Technician
Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid Journeyman Lineman Certification - Must have a valid Commercial Drivers Class 1A License and insurable driving record.
- Experience using aerial lifts and line trucks.
- Experience in rubber glove and hot stick live line work.
- Basic knowledge of wire stringing and associated equipment.
- Basic knowledge of rigging.
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Candidates must also pass required Drug & Alcohol pre-access testing. DUTIES:
- All aspects of underground and overhead powerline distribution construction, including: \xc2\xb7 new construction \xc2\xb7 modifications to existing facilities \xc2\xb7 maintenance to existing facilities \xc2\xb7 salvage \xc2\xb7 live line work \xc2\xb7 material and pole hauling HOW TO APPLY: Email a resume to klarkstrenching@sasktel.net Job Type: Full-time Salary: $40.00-$48.00 per hour Benefits:
