Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe connections.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify issues with plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot problems related to HVAC systems and plumbing fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move materials or equipment.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber or similar role is required.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Strong understanding of basic math principles related to measurements and calculations for plumbing installations.
• Experience in assembling various plumbing components and systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $33.98-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 48 per week
