Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team. From disconnecting and reconnecting fixtures to troubleshooting furnace and water heater installations, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, with lots of room for growth.

Responsibilities:

-Disconnect and reconnect plumbing fixtures
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble pipes and fittings using soldering techniques or other methods

-Install and connect piping components, valves, fittings, and fixtures

-Test piping systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality

-Cut, thread, fit, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters or electricians, to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects

-Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing integrity and efficiency of piping systems

- Perform inspections to identify plumbing issues and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems and implement appropriate solutions
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor associated with plumbing installations
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment
- Familiarity with carpentry techniques for framing and installing plumbing fixtures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
