Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pipefitter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems used in various industrial and commercial applications. This role requires a strong understanding of piping install, boltup flanges/torquing hydro testing, blueprint reading and threading to ensure the safe and efficient operation of piping infrastructure. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine piping layouts and specifications Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems using hand tools and rigging equipment Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems to ensure optimal functionality Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times Operate and maintain a 2 ton picker truck with a 078 HIAB picker Be responsible for all tools and rigging equipment

Skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience with hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters and threaders Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting projects Familiarity with rigging procedures for lifting and positioning heavy pipe sections Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on piping systems Knowledge of schematics related to industrial piping layouts Prior experience construction industries is preferred Posses all valid oilfield safety tickets

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.41-$40.00 per hour
