Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson to join our team in West Kelowna at Bumper to Bumper Auto Center. The Journeyperson will be responsible for performing complex installation, maintenance, and repair tasks with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems as per project specifications. Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and within scope. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted. Assist in training apprentices or junior staff when necessary to promote skill development within the team.

Skills

Proven experience as a Journeyperson in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or related trades. Valid journeyman/journeywoman certification/license relevant to the trade. Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and local building codes. Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Pay: $28.77-$45.00 per hour
