Position Overview

We are seeking a

Metal Worker / HVAC Technician

with experience in

metal fabrication, welding, and HVAC systems

. The ideal candidate is highly skilled with tools, enjoys troubleshooting and problem-solving, and takes pride in creating durable, precise work that stands the test of time.

You'll be responsible for

fabricating and installing metal components

,

repairing HVAC systems

, and supporting construction and restoration projects. This is a hands-on position with plenty of variety and opportunity to expand your skills.

Key Responsibilities Metal Fabrication & Construction

Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Read and interpret

blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

. Perform

welding, finishing, and restoration

work on metal structures and components. Support general construction activities, including

carpentry and plumbing

Apply

caulking, sealing, and finishing

techniques for high-quality results.

HVAC Service & Repair

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems

. Conduct

preventative maintenance and seasonal inspections

on heating and cooling systems. Assist with

installation of furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation equipment

. Participate in an

on-call rotation

to respond to emergency service requests.

General

Maintain a

clean, organized, and safe workspace

. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Uphold company standards of

professionalism, safety, and customer service

.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a

Metal Worker, Fabricator, or HVAC Technician

. Strong

troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

for HVAC systems. Proficiency in

welding, fabrication, and use of metalworking tools and machinery

. Ability to read and interpret

blueprints and technical schematics

. Experience in general construction trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems). Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. HVAC or sheet metal trade certification (asset but not required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
