Sheet Metal Worker

BC Sheet Metal Ltd. (a new company formed through the merger of Burly Sheet Metal and Commercial Sheet Metal) is currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker with a strong background in both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in installation, fabrication, and repair of HVAC system. A Red Seal Journeyman certification is considered an asset. We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious professional who can work independently or as part of a team.

Position requirements:

Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal to required specifications

Install and service HVAC systems, ducts, vents, and related components

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

Perform repairs and maintenance on existing systems

Ensure all work meets safety codes, company standards, and industry regulations

Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness

Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and clients on site

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sheet metal work (residential and commercial)

Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings

Strong attention to detail with the desire to complete the job correctly and on schedule

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with HVAC systems, duct fabrication, and installation

Solid understanding of workplace safety procedures and regulations

Strong problem-solving and time management skills

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Wage rate dependant on qualifications and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
