Journeyman Heavy Duty/Automotive Mechanic Purnell Energy Services is a Grande Prairie based company servicing the Oil & Gas Industry in northern Alberta. We take pride in providing exceptional services in facility, modular and pipeline construction while being a leader in 3D technology scanning and design. We are looking for a strong, team orientated individual to fill the position of Journeyman Heavy Duty/Automotive Mechanic with experience in the Oil and Gas mechanical construction sector. REQUIREMENTS

• Journeyman Certificate.

• Minimum of 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of heavy duty/automotive mechanic experience.

• Familiar with ongoing maintenance schedules.

• Be able to perform vehicle inspections.

• Proficient in paperwork and must be able to use computers.

• Be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers, managers, and clients.

• Have excellent communication skills and able to follow directions.

• CVIP Certificate is an asset but not required.

• Familiar with pipeline construction equipment is an asset but not required.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, overhaul, and repairs of variety of heavy-duty trucks, picker trucks, and other service trucks on or off-site.

• Following manufacturer\xe2\x80\x99s routine maintenance, specifications, and transport legislation.

• Complete work orders, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting.

• Order parts, materials and equipment as needed.

• Comply with company health and safety programs and Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.

• Keep shop clean, orderly, and safe.

• Report any safety concerns to the Asset Manager.
