Duties

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling based on client preferences. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations for hair care and styling. Upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals. Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling transactions. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide informed recommendations to clients. Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals through excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of hair styling techniques, products, and tools necessary for various services. Ability to maintain sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations. Experience in retail sales is an advantage, with skills in upselling products effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with clients and team members. A valid cosmetology license is required to perform hair services legally.
