Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hairstylist/Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. As a Hairstylist/Barber, you will be responsible for providing high-quality haircuts and grooming services while also engaging with customers to ensure their satisfaction.

Duties

Perform haircuts, shaves, and other grooming services according to client preferences. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored services. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations. Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client records. Engage in retail sales by promoting hair care products and upselling services to enhance client experience. Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques.

Requirements

Experience as a Hairstylist/Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry. Proficient in various hair styling techniques and grooming services. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to upsell products and services. Familiarity with retail sales practices is a plus. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are sanitized regularly. A valid license or certification is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
