is seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Carpenter Team Lead Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ICF foundations and a proven track record of leading a team effectively. As a personable leader, you will supervise a team of up to 10 employee's while also actively working on-site as a carpenter, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of up to 10 carpenters in various construction projects Participate in hands-on carpentry work, applying your expertise and experience on the job site. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements and communicate these effectively to the team. Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and building codes. Plan and coordinate daily tasks to ensure project timelines are met. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Monitor work quality and safety practices on-site, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders. Assist in the training and mentoring of new team members. Address any team-related issues and implement solutions to enhance productivity.

Qualifications

Journeyman Carpenter certification. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within the construction industry. Proven experience with ICF foundations. Minimum Class 5 Drivers License Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. Technologically Literate ICF foundation experience an asset. Carpenter Journeyman designation an asset.

Work Conditions

Outdoor work in all weather conditions. May involve lifting, climbing, kneeling, and standing for long periods. Exposure to loud noises, dust, and construction site hazards. Will be expected to use and maintain consistency on our construction management software
