We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a passion for building and restoring structures. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and adherence to project timelines. The Journeyperson Carpenter will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks, from framing and siding , tile laying , Flooring,
insurances & industrial renovations
Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, steel
Fabricate custom components as needed for specific projects.
Perform siding installation and repairs on residential and commercial buildings.
Execute roofing tasks including installation, maintenance, and restoration.
Conduct construction painting to ensure high-quality finishes on all projects.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide construction processes.
Lay tiles in various patterns for flooring and wall applications.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete multi-faceted projects efficiently.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Requirements
Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in construction estimating to provide accurate project assessments.
Ability to fabricate components according to specifications.
Knowledge of electrical systems as they relate to carpentry work is preferred.
Familiarity with roofing techniques and materials.
Experience in restoring existing structures while maintaining their integrity.
Competence in construction painting techniques for both interior and exterior applications.
Strong understanding of schematics and the ability to follow detailed plans accurately.
Experience in tile laying with attention to detail for aesthetic finishes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
