What you will do:Read and interpret blue prints or welding process specifications
Follow directions given in layouts, drawings and work orders
Welding of various heavy equipment attachments and components utilizing MCAW and FCAW
Ensure product quality
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment at all times
Ensures workmanship throughout the manufacturing process and on finished goods meets or exceeds the cost, quality and schedule expectations of all customers.
Active participation in WBM Safety Program, ensuring that workplace safety exists at all times
Other duties as required
Your qualifications:Red Seal Certified or an equivalent certification in Fabrication or Welding
4+ years experience in Fabrication or Welding
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous quality
Excellent communication skills
Problem solving skills to methodically and logically work through problems
Be proficient in the use of all tools common to the fabrication shop environment
What you bring to the position:Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
Analytical skills to identify problems and find a solution, or seek advice from the supervisor
Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift items weighing up to 35 kg.
Excellent safety record
