The Role

Do you have a knack for keeping HVAC/R systems running smoothly? If so, this is the job for you!

We are looking for an experienced and certified Journeyman Technician professional to join our team and help us ensure our customers are comfortable and happy. As a Journeyman Technician you will perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of a Journeyman Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and identifying problems with the HVAC/R systems.
  • Conducting regular maintenance and upkeep of HVAC/R systems.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and communication with clients.
  • Liaising with the project management team to ensure all work is completed on time and on budget.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Journeyman Technician are:
  • Red Seal Journeyman certification in HVAC/R; chiller experience is of benefit.
  • Preferred 5 plus years in commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration.
  • Knowledge of chillers, VRF equipment, controls and building systems
  • Valid class 5 license.
  • Ability to sufficiently review mechanical schematics, and shop drawings.
  • Knowledge of chillers, modular heat pumps, hydronic systems and design, controls and building systems.
