Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems and HVAC units. Perform heavy lifting as required for installations and repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution. Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide timely solutions. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing systems. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with HVAC systems is preferred. Familiarity with construction practices and building codes. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various environments.
