Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, construction practices, and maintenance procedures. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing infrastructure in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The Journeyperson Plumber will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality service efficiently and safely.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute plumbing projects accurately Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete installations and repairs Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper integration of plumbing components within building frameworks Perform troubleshooting to identify issues within plumbing systems and implement effective solutions Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment Assist in assembly tasks related to plumbing components and systems as needed

Requirements

Valid Journeyperson Plumbing license or certification Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems, carpentry, and schematics reading Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations Knowledge of construction practices and safety standards in the industry Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working in confined spaces Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
