Journeyman Plumber/Gasfitter

Job Summary: EXPERIENCE AS A JOURNEYMAN IS REQUIRED

We are seeking a

Journeyman Plumber with Gasfitter credentials

to perform a variety of plumbing and gas fitting tasks on new construction, renovations, and service projects. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Desired candidates are self starters, can take charge of tasks and lead apprentices by example.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and gas systems in Multi family residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Ensure work complies with all plumbing and gas codes and safety regulations. Mentor apprentices and support their development on the job. Collaborate with project managers and team leads to meet project timelines.

Qualifications:

Red Seal Journeyman Plumber certification (required). Class B Gasfitter certification (or equivalent, depending on province). Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively. Strong understanding of plumbing and gas codes. Must have own basic hand tools; specialty tools and truck may be provided.

Pay: $27.62-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
