Position Overview:

Extol Developments Inc. is a construction management firm based in Regina, SK executing commercial and multi-family residential projects. Through clear, concise, and transparent communication, we strive to exceed client expectations and deliver projects as committed.

We are looking for a self-starter with an energetic results-oriented work style, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail. As a carpenter you will assist with worksite labour and the delivery of timely, high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand job requirements. Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall to ensure they are level and compatible. Carve and assemble cabinets, shelves, and other items as required, and install them as designated. Take precise measurements to calculate the size and amount of the material that are needed. Build scaffolding and other construction structures. Cut, shape and smooth lumber, fiberglass, and other material according to measurements. Adhere to and enforce safety requirements.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license, drivers abstract, and criminal record check. Journeyman's certificate in carpentry, or 3-4 years of apprenticeship experience and education. Experience working in commercial construction and rough carpentry. Excellent time management, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong ability to read and follow technical documents and drawings. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
