Job Description

Mountain Street Plumbing & Heating is currently looking for a full-time Journeyman Commercial Service Plumber for commercial repairs, service, boilers, preventative maintenance, and mechanical installation services.

Duties & Essential Responsibilities:

Diagnose, install, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and water drainage systems. Perform scheduled and unscheduled service and repairs on residential and commercial plumbing systems. Test new fittings and fixtures for leaks. Read blueprints, determine layouts of plumbing fixtures, water supplies, vent and drainage systems, repair and maintain domestic hot and cold-water systems, install commercial plumbing fixtures. Building shut down and repairs. Must have own basic tools to perform job duties. Ability to work 40 hours per week, with paid overtime (after 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week) and on-call as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills Required:

Journeyman plumbing and gas ticket required. Experience in commercial service is an asset. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees. Ability to carry out service work in a professional and respectful manner. Strong troubleshooting ability is an asset. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and drivers abstract. Able to work on boilers and hydronic heating systems. Self-motivated, reliable, and organized. Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time to meet required project deadlines. Able to work independently or part of a team. Meticulous to detail yet efficient.

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
