We are currently looking for a

Journeyman Carpenter

to join our dedicated team. This position is ideal for a skilled, detail-oriented tradesperson who takes pride in high-quality residential construction work and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Unlike a supervisory role, this position focuses on advanced carpentry skills and hands-on execution throughout all stages of new home builds.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and detailed construction drawings Perform framing, finishing, and other carpentry tasks to a high standard Install windows, doors, cabinetry, and trim with precision Assist in solving on-site construction challenges alongside the build team Collaborate with other carpenters and tradespeople to meet project goals Maintain a clean, organized work area and take care of tools and equipment Ensure adherence to all OH&S and company safety procedures

Qualifications

Red Seal Carpenter Certification or equivalent journeyman status (preferred) Minimum 3-5 years of residential construction experience Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools Ability to read and follow technical plans and specifications Comfortable working in all weather conditions and lifting 50+ lbs Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to producing quality work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
