Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various carpentry tasks and a strong understanding of construction principles. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial buildings, restorations, and renovations. The Journeyperson Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and plastic Perform heavy lifting as required for various construction tasks.. Restore existing structures to their original condition or improve their functionality. Engage in construction painting to finish projects with precision. Oversee flooring installation to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements

Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in heavy lifting techniques and physical stamina for demanding tasks. Familiarity with masonry techniques and materials is a plus. Experience in construction painting practices is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
