Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and a passion for delivering high-quality work. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing vehicles to their pre incident condition, ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Duties

Perform body repairs on vehicles damaged in accidents or due to wear and tear. Utilize tools effectively to complete repairs. Experience on frame rack and asset. Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs needed. Replace or repair damaged parts, including panels, bumpers, and frames. Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow in the shop. Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols. Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in automotive repair. Journeyman qualification an asset. Possess your own tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with estimators and fellow co-workers. A valid driver's license is required. Position can be either straight time or flat rate depending on skill level and employee preference.
