Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to ensuring that all equipment operates safely and efficiently. The Equipment Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring minimal downtime.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, making necessary repairs or adjustments. Install new equipment and machinery according to specifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. Provide training and support to staff on proper equipment usage and safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Familiarity with electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues across various departments. Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour
