OVERVIEW
As a
Line Cook
, you will work alongside our culinary leadership and kitchen team to deliver exceptional food experiences for our members and guests. You'll prepare and execute a variety of refined dishes, contribute to menu execution, and ensure a clean and well-organized kitchen environment. This role is ideal for an experienced cook looking to elevate their skills in a high-standard, fast-paced, and supportive environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILIES
Prepare and execute consistent and high-quality dishes aligned with menu specifications.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized workstation at all times.
Assist with preparation for banquets, private events, and daily a la carte service.
Demonstrate proper food handling and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and execution.
Embrace opportunities for continuous learning and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.
Maintain awareness of daily specials, ingredients, and kitchen prep needs.
Support the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in inventory management and prep lists as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a culinary role is preferred; formal culinary training is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with composure and professionalism.
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Clear criminal record and strong English communication skills.
